It also has a multi-position reclined seat and a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger sunshades.

It's really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat and the huge shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. The narrow pushchair sailed through all day bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position, or they can pivot. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. On our walk along the stony path we let them move and it did this quite well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers that jog. However, they also manufacture a vast range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is simple to use and folds small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers that we test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain and it's easy to move, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be lowered to reveal a UV50and sun canopy extension. They are water-resistant and durable, unlike some other prams' hoods which get bounced back into toddlers faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it comes with a large basket deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you require a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.
