This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent choice for parents who want lightweight strollers with added features. It comes as an entire travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot for infants, a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair and a selection of a car seats, so you can get everything in one package.

The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it's earned such high marks from customers. It's extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also easy to construct. In fact I was able to complete the entire setup and running in just five minutes, which is amazing given that it included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!

The seat is spacious and comfortable for Annie who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to use. The basket has plenty of space and I find it nice that the handle bar features a pocket to keep your phone and keys safe.

The only downside is the handlebar is low, which could be a problem for taller parents. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material, which is easy to wipe down.

Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the affordable British brand. They are well-known for their well-designed, no-fuss products that are essential to parents. It's their latest and most expensive addition to the budget-friendly stroller line. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it's car seat compatible, meaning it can be used from birth.

The new Pace has some amazing design touches such as the rose gold hue to the chassis, hood and stroller trims, which make it stand out from its competitors. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are super elegant and there is an option to add a co-ordinating handle for the cover and bumper bar as well.

It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg and the stroller seat converts easily from the carrycot to the 2-in-1 reversible mode. It can be facing the parent or the world. The stroller seat has multiple lie-back positions, soft padded legs rests, and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections with a view-through flap, and retractable visor.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 32 x 43 cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other carriers. It's also simple to collapse, with two buttons on either side of the handlebar that you can click into and pop up.
