If you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller that doubles as car seat carriers the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip flop comfortable.

It's simple to push, and it is solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation for being the ultimate lightweight stroller, both for city dwellers as well for jet-setters. This is thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in an aeroplane's overhead luggage. The latest version has independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to 'perfectly traverse all types and terrains'.

The base YOYO2 frame with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a the 6+ month colour pack come together to form a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eye, with a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon by simply flipping the handle, meaning parents can select which mode they prefer on their adventure. The wagon can hold one or two kids from 6 months up to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket for everything you need on the go.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for the entire family. It has a smaller footprint than some wagons. This isn't ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid but it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a secondary stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store in a trunk of a car. It also offers a multi-position reclining seat and a parent cup holder. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels, as well as two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopies.

It took us under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. All of the components required tools. However, it's missing some essential features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

The Zelia is the newest version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is advertised as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be converted easily with just a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base and a reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to get their child in and out. Despite being narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps well and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction or rotate. This is helpful in rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel on our walk along the stony path. It handled this reasonably well, even though it felt slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain strollers that jog. But they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to use and folds up small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers that we test, but the wheels are rubber composite so it feels well-made and sturdy. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's also a breeze to lift even with two kids and shopping bags.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are water-resistant and durable, unlike some other prams' hoods which get turned back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have a large, deep basket to hold a change bag or plenty of food. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to take a stroller with you on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene, it instantly captured the hearts of parents across the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can be used from the baby's first days to beyond. It is a standout model with many unique features, including the capacity of the seat to be flipped between parent and world facing, a large UPF50+ canopy that has an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with a built-in suspension system that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam and reduce punctures. It was easy to push and our test driver was able to maneuver the vehicle through the narrow streets.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transport down the stairs, or in the boot of the car. It also comes ready with the option to add a car seat and a carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are simple to use using a single action color coded and flip-flop friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single jogging stroller pushchair that is budget-friendly is extremely easy to use and comes with great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also light and durable. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that is suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can face each other or turn around and face parents, theoretically cutting down on sibling fights over who sits with dad and mom. It has a huge gear tray, bottle holder, snack trays and a change mat. It also comes with an automatic frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger designed for parents who like to stay active. It's among the lightest strollers you can buy for your child. It also comes with great safety features like a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It also features a twist hand brake which is different than the lever type found on competing models.

The seat is padded and offers a large area to sit. However the seat's depth is smaller than that of other joggers (it's just 10 inches deep") The storage bin is equipped with a zippered cover to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs that is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from day one by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to assemble without tools. The instruction manual is simple to understand and includes multiple languages.
