Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique keycase to commemorate the brand's centennial. Made from Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set keys as well as a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a brand who takes its aesthetics seriously. Design

Bentley is a luxury car maker that creates extravagant and luxurious cars. However, even the keys are a statement. Bentley Mulliner redesigned and developed the Mulsanne to become the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. The rear seats are designed to offer passengers the most comfortable and private experience. They were inspired by the luxurious private aircraft. A custom heating, air conditioning and ventilation system has been developed to ensure that every passenger has the ideal climate control setting.

The Mulsanne is equipped with twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that produces 560bhp, and 479lb-ft of torque. This power is paired with a new suspension that offers Bentley's signature smooth ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a unique specification called the Centenary Specification for vehicles built in 2019. This includes contrast stitching and cross-stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings on the headrests and seats are embroidered with Centenary Gold, adding to the sense of celebration. Function

The Bentley Mulsanne key has a button that opens the trunk and a second button that can start the car. It also has a button to activate the parking break. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parked in a tight area. This feature makes it easier to get into and out of your vehicle.

The key is made from vegetable tanned leather. It takes over two days to create each one. It is cut by hand to shape, sewn sealed, and polished to produce an extremely high-end finish. It is small and sturdy and matches the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is akin to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key, but it feels much heavier and has a luxurious feel.

Secure-A-Key is also available to protect against keyless entry theft. This device is placed inside the remote control fob and disables it when the key isn't used for a short period of time. It prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can be used to open and start the vehicle.

Bentley's distinctive design reflects the values of the company that include fine craftsmanship engineering expertise and cutting-edge technology. Its headquarters in Crewe are home to more than 4,000 workers who are responsible for the development, design and production of Bentley vehicles. Personalisation

Bentley's Mulliner division allows customers to create their own car. Guests sit at a series of images referred to as "mood stations" and pick a collection of images ranging from scenic views to sporting events that are inspiring to them to design their own. Each time a selection is made, the pattern that emerges is the model preference for color, style and design for the customized bentley key replacement.

The configuration that is created is then loaded onto individual R.F.I.D.-enabled key cards which are handed out to the guests in a hand-crafted key case. And rather than letting the car's built-in sensors guide it into parallel and perpendicular parking spaces, drivers have to perform the task by hand.

During the event, Bentley presented its Mulliner personalization capabilities with one particular example - the Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays tribute to the founder William Osler Bentley. The limited-edition cars have 100 of them. one key that features a small portion of the 1930 8 Liter's crankshaft.
