If you're looking to save money and don't want a stroller that doubles up as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop friendly.

It's easy to push and it feels solid when you are walking along woodland paths and kerbs. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is due to its nimble maneuverability and fold that fits into the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The latest version has independent suspension on all four wheels made of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to perfectly navigate all terrains and types'.

The bent fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and 6months of colour pack are combined to create a sleek pushchair with a delicate elegant design. The frame itself weighs just under a kilo and is so light that you can lift it directly from the box (and do it using one hand).

The hood, as an example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 with a reassuring way. It's also machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps avoid the stains that result from smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into a stroller from 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller wagon. It can be converted from a stroller to wagon by simply flipping the handle, so parents can select the option they want to use on their adventure. The wagon can accommodate two or more children from 6 months up to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket for everything you need on the go.

The Xplore also has two canopies that turn from front to back, providing ample sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as deep or wide as other wagons, so it may not be ideal for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend as much as some other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight after folding. It is easy to move, however, and fits through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are looking for a second stroller that is affordable. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put in a trunk of a car. It also features a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our push and turn test it performed better than the majority of other cheap strollers we tried, but it's not the most maneuverable on uneven terrain or through narrow doorways. Its sunshades were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top of the stroller and don't have windows that peek Out ‘n’ About Nipper Single Stroller Lightweight All-Terrain. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. But, it's lacking certain essential features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair that is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is suitable from birth until 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be easily converted in just a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible car seat.

It is really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat and the huge shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child out and in quickly. This narrow pushchair handled everyday bumps and doorways effortlessly.

The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or allow them to rotate which helps when covering rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel on our walk along a stony path. It handled the situation well, though it did seem slightly rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain strollers that jog. However, they also make a broad range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It folds easily and fits easily into the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It's heavier than other strollers we tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It's a breeze to maneuver across all kinds of terrain, and it's easy to carry, even when loaded with two kids and a shopping bag.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large, deep basket to hold a change bag or a large amount of groceries. It can also be linked with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for infants up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's a frame made of aluminum that will be with you throughout your baby's initial days and beyond. It has many standout features, like the capacity of the seat to flip between parent and world facing, a large UPF50+ canopy that has an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a built-in suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the boot of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system is also offered with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes come with only one action and are colour coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to operate and features a fantastic dual suspension. It folds using just one hand, and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined into several positions. It comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can face one another or be turned around to face their parents, potentially reducing sibling rivalries over who should sit with mom and dad. It comes with a large bottle holder, a gear tray, snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also has a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who love to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers that you can buy for your child. It also has great safety features, like a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety straps. It also features an innovative twist hand brake that's different than the lever type found on competing models.

The seat is well-padded and has a wide area to sit in, but the depth of the seat is not as deep as other joggers we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is secured with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold up to 10 lbs that is enough for the majority of diaper bags.
