The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are sturdy and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have an ample basket that is deep enough to hold a changing bag or plenty of food.
